Hi Jackie
Looks like my siser-in-law preempted me: they've already ordered bikes from Islabikes. Sorry

Hi Jackie
My sister in law might be interested. I've emailed her the link and I'll text her this AM. Just what they are looking for.

Anna wanted to ride, so we went down early - but it was not to be: the rule book was against her. She wants to come back when we can get some accreditation for her.
-
Sorry for the delay, Chris.
Can you put me and Carolan down for 2 tickets to this fine social occasion. Will get money to Steve asap
Thanks
Jeremy -
First chance to comment - just a quick note to thank all who organised the trip, the rides and routes and the logistics. Another seamless CCA foreign expedition: great rides, great company, great food and great beer. Still pretty knackered but some …

Will be there in spirit. We are in Tuscany for two weeks from tomorrow. (However, I have hired a bike out there, so be afraid... very afraid.)
Have a good one. -
Have dropped off a cheque at Steve's house.
Cheers -
Excellent - I'll get a cheque in the post in the morning - but where do I send it?
-
Seconded!

Aaah yes - that team sprint time - a veil should be drawn gently over that particular feat.
Good results for CCA at the Team Welwyn event today - and an announcement was made about the innaugural CCA grass track event. -
I can't make it tomorrow, unfortunately: family commitments. have a good one.
(And on the subject of quick times, Anna and Andrew did a one lap team sprint last night: 33 seconds. Anna is 8: I just wish I was as fast.) -
Tim
Great session - many thanks Tim. I look forward to more - though I can't make next Saturday.
PS Did I leave my helmet - a silver Giro - by any chance: I can't find it at home(!?) -
Tim - please can I have a go, if only to give me some preparation for having a go at grass track myself when I'm ferrying Anna around the southeast.
Cheers

Tunnel Booked,

You mean... I'll have to come to the pub? O frabgous day!

Geoff is right - large for me (although spending whole weekends eating crap and watching my daughter race grasstrack the size will creep up if I'm not careful.)

1 Am now a definitely definite
2 Prefer a single room
3 Aww g'wan: put me down for a regular jersey. -
Richard - I am a definitely maybe: still timetable dependent - put me down and will sort it out this week.
Do we have an idea of shirt costs? -
Mothers day? 50 miles? Might be able to sneak a few miles with you before turning back to cook Sunday lunch

I hope those who were subject of 'prosecutions' in the court aren't too scarred by the experience.
You'll never take me alive, copper! -

It's a fair cop.

I have to second that big time. A huge laugh all round and my wife thinks I look better for it. I don't think I've laughed as much in years - nor ridden those kinds of distances for decades either!
Adam's already expressed it really wel… -
Any advice on gear selection? (By which of course I mean rear cluster sprockets, rather than perfomance enhancing drugs.)
-
Club ride?!? Ive started a new job, I know, but... club ride?
-
Great event - thanks top all: organiser and helpers. My girls thought it was really good fun.

Nice to think I was out with the speedy guys but I can do speed or distance - can't do both. Wanting to do about two hours well, rather than three+ on my knees I turned back at the Ampthill Country Park junction and kept my speed up home via Old war…

Please also accept a Mea Culpa from me. Sorry all.

Tunnel booked. Realistically I can only manage a total of 4 adults in comfort.
I now need to compose the iPod playlists for the journey. (I'm thinking a 'famous Belgian musicians' theme; so that'll be Plastic Betrand and Django Reinhard… -
Just got back from sunny Pembrokeshire. Happy to share a room - earlier proviso re snoring still stands however - or go for single room. Richard, do you want details of car - numberplate, make etc or do the drivers each book themselves on to the tun…
